Melissa Iverson, DVM

Dr. Melissa Iverson earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She is originally from Cape Cod, MA but decided to remain in Florida after completing her clinical year to enjoy the good weather year-round. Dr. Iverson has been in the veterinary field since 2015.

After joining Northeast Animal Hospital's veterinary team, Dr. Iverson says, "I am excited and blessed to join a great group of staff commited to providing the best care and quality medicine for our pets." Her favorite part of working here is the positivity of both the team and the whole work environment.

Dr. Iverson is the joyful owner of two (spayed) female domestic shorthair calico cats: three-year-old Mochi and one-year-old Patricia. She enjoys being active in the great outdoors rollerblading, horseback riding, and scuba diving.
