Dr. Mark Scribano studied at the University of Florida. He acquired his B.A. in 1983, completed two years of post-graduate studies, and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine Degree in 1989. He is a member and officer of numerous local, regional, and national veterinary and community organizations.
Dr. Scribano’s out of office activities include spending time with his family, working in the yard, and fishing. He is the owner of Northeast Animal Hospital and its sister practice, Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic, and he sees dogs, cats, and exotics with special interest in laser and stem therapy for acute and chronic pain management.
We are very proud of our entire staff and their work to care for the health of St. Petersburg pets! Our testimonial reviews highlight the professional attention and affection we devote to your animal companions.
Dr. Simone Sanin is a graduate of St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine, and she completed her clinical year at the University of Florida. She was inducted into the Phi Zeta Honor Society, an achievement that highlights her dedication and excellence in veterinary medicine. Dr. Sanin is also Fear-Free certified and feels a trip to the vet shouldn’t be a negative experience for pets.
She takes pride in helping pets feel as comfortable as possible whether it’s for a bi-annual check-up or serious illness. She chose to practice small animal general medicine because she loves being a big part of her patient’s lives and strives to practice high quality preventative medicine to keep pets (and their families!) happy and healthy.
Dr. Sanin is a Miami native who is fluent in Spanish. She relocated to St. Pete because she enjoys its slower pace, bustling downtown, and beautiful beaches. When she’s not working in the hospital, she enjoys spending time with her family, biking, doing just about anything involving the sea - from laying out on the beach to scuba diving - and growing her newly-formed succulent garden!
Dr. Alanna Munzenmaier is excited to join Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic in January 2022. Her special interests include ophthalmology, dentistry, and internal medicine. She lives in St. Petersburg with her cat Nacho. She enjoys horseback riding, kayaking, museums, music, and travel.
