I’ve been working at Northeast Animal Hospital since September of 2012, having enjoyed working in this field since 2003. My favorite part of working here is being part of a team where everyone, from the moment our client walks in the door, is dedicated to the well-being of the patient. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Sciences from Colorado State University. I worked in equine medicine until 2011 when I transitioned to small animal medicine.
When I'm away from work, I love cooking, exploring new restaurants and wineries, and hiking with my husband and pups. I share my home with my husband Keith, and the loves of my life—my German Shorthaired Pointers, Ruger and Oakley.
I've been at Northeast Animal Hospital since 2005 and have had the privilege of working in a few different areas of the practice—first as a Pet Care Coordinator, then as Administrative Assistant, and now as Creative Specialist. I truly enjoy being a part of all that goes on behind the scenes here at the hospital, allowing me to draw on my creative side for graphics and design. I also enjoy managing our Facebook and Instagram pages, writing our blogs and newsletters, and assisting with advertising and marketing.
Along with hobbies that allow me to be artistic, I love spending time with my husband and daughter, family, friends, and our dogs: London, a yorkie who is the smallest of all our dogs but definitely in charge; India and Briar, our Aussiedoodles; and our miniature poodles, Beau and Zara.
I have been a veterinary technician here at Northeast Animal Hospital since 2006, but I have worked in the field since 1998. Many aspects of my job are rewarding but I particularly enjoy the surgery, radiograph, and dentistry areas.
In my off time I enjoy kayaking, glamping in the RV, and playing with my classic British car. I have many pets including three cats: Cupcake, Moltov, and Oswin. I also have a dog, Tedward, my Shih Tzu.
I’m happy to have returned to Northeast Animal Hospital in June of 2017! I enjoy the staff here and the diversity in my day—there’s always something different to do and see! I went to school to become a veterinary technician at Bel-Rea in Denver.
I’m originally from Wisconsin, but I moved to Florida to be near the ocean and palm trees. I love St. Pete and being able to go to the beach, as well as reading and being with my family and my cat, Bean.
I started working with animals in 2018 and joined Northeast Animal Hospital in September 2019. I love the welcoming, supportive environment here where there is always something to learn! Originally from Illinois, I moved to Florida in 2018 and am currently enrolled at Eckerd College as a pre-vet student. I’m passionate about veterinary medicine and hope to specialize in exotics. I have my own exotics; a ball python named Medusa and tarantulas; as well as a French bulldog, Xena; a Chihuahua, Ziggy; and Zara, a calico cat. When I’m not working, I love to cook, trying out new recipes, and to draw.
My journey in animal health began long before I started working at Northeast Animal Hospital in the beginning of 2019. When I was a little girl, I rehabilitated a frog and returned it to the wild and I knew this was the career for me. I’ve been in this field now for 7 years and love that I get to do what I love each day. From caring for animals, to helping educate owners about their pet’s health, I love doing my part to help pets live longer, happier lives.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy walking my Cocker Spaniel named Lyla, playing with my son, and spending time with my fiancé.
After 5 years in the veterinary field, I'm so happy to have joined the Northeast Animal Hospital team. It really feels like a family here—everyone is so caring, pushing each other to do their best. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but I moved to Florida 4 years ago. In my spare time I enjoy going for a drive, attending music festivals, dancing, and going to the gym. I hope to add a hedgehog to the family soon!
I joined the Northeast Animal Hospital team in August of 2020, having been in this field since 2017. The dedication and compassion every single person has makes coming to work each day enjoyable. Everyone is friendly and open minded, and the doctors really care about their patients and help us learn along the way. I graduated from USF St. Pete and hope to become a veterinarian one day. I'm currently enrolled in UF's master’s program in shelter medicine. My goal is to go to vet school and use my knowledge and experience to further my career.
When I'm not working or at school I love reading, baking, hanging out with friends, taking trips to new places, eating at new restaurants, exploring new places, and spending time with my pets. I have a 3-year-old domesticated short hair orange and white male neutered cat named Cheeto Puff. I rescued him from outside when he was only about 4 weeks old and he's my first animal that I've raised myself and taken care of independently. My boyfriend and I also have a 5-year-old male neutered brown chihuahua named Zeus that's very sweet and shy and loves cuddles.
I've been working with animals since 2016 and joined Northeast Animal Hospital in May 2021. I have such drive and passion for this field and love the staff here; it's hard to find such a great group of nurses and doctors! I like to be a team player and help keep the staff in great spirits. I definitely enjoy making people laugh.
When I'm not working, I enjoy the beach and the amusement parks, hiking, kayaking, and hanging out with Kiki, the most laid back chihuahua; Smooth, my Sphynx cat who loves food and belly rubs; and Rune, my sand boa snake.
I starting working at Northeast Animal Hospital in December of 2021, though I've been in this field since 2011. I enjoy the flow of the workplace here and how everyone works as a team. I also really enjoy working with the exotic pets that come in. I have quite a few exotic pets myself: 8 snakes, 3 turtles, 1 leopard gecko, and 1 crested gecko. I also have 1 dog, Feara, a pit/catahoula mix. And I have 4 cats: Freya; Opal Light and Hersey Kiss, who are brother and sister; and Tommy Oliver.
When I'm not working at the hospital or doing nonprofit volunteer work, I love traveling, camping, backpacking, trailblazing, extreme hula hooping, gardening, and creating art—I even vend my plants and art.
I've been working with animals since April 2019 and have really enjoyed my time with everyone here. There's always an opportunity to learn and grow in knowledge and experience and I get to do it all while playing with the pets that come to us. I attended Daytona State College and moved to St. Pete to work towards getting my bachelor’s degree. When I'm not at the vet office or at school, I love to practice with aerial silks, sew, and spend time with my yorkie Max, and my cat Stella.
I worked previously in Animal Shelter Medicine for 5.5 years and have been working at Northeast Animal Hospital since April 2016. I am lucky to have the opportunity to work at both Northeast Animal Hospital & Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic. The continuous learning and teamwork are key points in which I enjoy doing what I do so much. Educating clients and using my knowledge and resources to do the best I can at what I do is extremely rewarding. Forming the bond with both pets and their people that come through our doors daily is also a very rewarding part of my job. I look forward to many more years here at Northeast Animal Hospital and Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic!
In my spare time I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, and a good concert. I also love lounging around and hanging out with my two cats: Pedro, a DSH black and white; and Georgia, a DMH brown tiger. My life is devoted to the love and care of animals.
I’ve been working here as a Pet Care Coordinator since 2017. My favorite part about working at Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic is getting to know our patients. They make coming to work something I look forward to.
I have two dogs that I rescued. They’re mom and son Pitbulls, Tank and Jayda. I found Tank hiding in a bush; he was just a puppy at the time. When I picked him up, Jayda ran up to me. She was so happy to see me! She licked my face and jumped right into my car. We’ve been inseparable ever since.
When I’m not at work I love to hang out with my friends. I’m finally getting the hang of gardening. I enjoy collecting crystals and learning about their properties, and I love to paint. But my favorite thing is to be with my dogs!
I started at Northeast Animal Hospital in May 2020 and am really excited to be learning about the veterinary field! Being around all the adorable pets everyday is certainly a job perk too! When I'm not working, I love spending time with Cooper, my English bulldog, as well as ice skating, crocheting, and puzzles.
I've been in this field since 2005; but in December of 2021, I got to join this team that offers so much care, love, and help to their clients and pets. Our dogs are the loves of our lives. When I'm not working at the hospital or working with rescue dogs I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking, and keeping busy with DIY projects for my home.
I enjoy helping to rescue dogs, having 5 rescues myself. Sissy is a Chihuahua mix and the boss of the house. Daisey Mae, a Boston/Dachshund mix, is our crazy hunter of anything that moves in our yard. Abby, our shy lab/border collie mix, loves to go camping and on long hikes. Delilah Rose, an American/English Bulldog mix, is our big girl that thinks she's a lap dog and acts just like a person. And lastly, our boxer/lab mix, Hugo, thinks he's people too. He's fun and playful and loves to have all the attention.
I moved to St. Petersburg in 2017 from Chicago, where I worked at a pet resort for seven years. Since then, I've been working in the veterinary field. My favorite part of working at Northeast Animal Hospital is my love of seeing all the different fur babies. Since I also work at Downtown St. Pete Vet Clinic, I get to experience the interaction of even more pups who love coming in to see me and their other friends. So, my favorite part of working here is definitely the animals.
When I'm not at work, I like to play video games and take walks with my pups. I have three dogs, named Xena, Ziggy, and Cookie. I also have two cats, Zara and Opal-Cat. My pets also include 13 tarantulas, and a Ball Python named Medusa.
I'm so excited to have joined Northeast Animal Hospital in July of 2021! I love working with such a great team of people who are always willing to answer my questions and help me grow in the field
When I'm not working or attending Eckerd College (majoring in biology with the goal of attending vet school), I enjoy reading, caring for my plants, and fish keeping (I have 2 betas, Moon and Chili). And I love spending time with my 4 cats, Milo, Smokey, Jewel, and Elsa; and my hamster, Gouda.
Originally from Lake Tahoe, Nevada, I joined Northeast Animal Hospital in February of 2022. I really enjoy working here and being able to help provide great care for the animals.
When I'm not attending Eckerd College, playing beach volleyball, or hiking, I love spending time with my two cats, Kylo and Juno; and my ball python snake, Robert.
I joined Northeast Animal Hospital, and this lovely culture of fellow animal lovers, in April of 2022. Everyone here has a true passion for their work and cares deeply for the pets we see—and it shows. It's refreshing to be a part of a team that is in this field for the right reasons.
When I'm not working, I love to immerse myself in the music scene: festivals, concerts, drum circles, etc... I also love to be anywhere outside, especially at the beach or at nature preserves.
I also love spending time with my 7-year-old gray, majestic, perfect, beautiful, domestic long-haired kitty named Asher. He is a cuddle bug through and through. His favorite snack is spicy chicken nuggets, and he has white "boots" on all four of his paws.
I have an extra special love for rehabilitating animals and being beside them on their journey from weak to strong. I hope to eventually specialize in rehabbing zoo animals or have my own not-for-profit center for animals that need assistance to feel better.
