Boarding & Grooming Boarding with us? To make the check in process a more enjoyable experience, you may download our release form, look it over, fill it out and bring it with you. We look forward to seeing you soon! At Northeast Animal Hospital, we realize that it's not always possible for your pet to be with you at all times, so we offer climate controlled boarding facilities for the comfort of your pet. Each species of pet has their own separate kennel area to help alleviate some of the stress that is associated with being away from home. Also, for this reason, we prefer that you do not bring bedding of any sort. Animals can behave differently while away from home; a pet who is normally not destructive can ruin and even ingest bedding if they become distressed due to separation anxiety. Observation while boarding will determine if it is safe to place bedding in the boarding space with your pet. If so, we prefer to use our supplies. This reduces the risk of personal items being lost or damaged while cleaning. We appreciate your understanding. While boarding with us we provide Royal Canin Mature, a high quality, scientifically formulated diet. Please be aware that some pets will experience gastrointestinal upset with a sudden diet change. It is recommended that you bring your pet's own food. In addition, we ask that you bring along any medications your pet may be on. We will update any vaccines your pet may be due for, including an intestinal parasite screening, if one has not been performed within the last six months for dogs and cats, and a bordetella injection for dogs. We also offer boarding for your small exotics in the comfort of their own cage for just $5 a night. Bathing services are available and we are happy to offer a free bath when your pet stays with us for 7 nights or more. We are committed to the quality of your pet's health care. We will make every effort to provide as much individualized attention to your pet as possible, however, we appreciate your understanding of the policies we have implemented in order to continue providing the highest level of care and the most positive boarding experience. If you would like your pet to have extra walks, extra feeding, or just extra attention, our Extra Care is just $5.70 per day in addition to their boarding fees. |
